Comfortable fit (good for long gaming sessions at the PC). Good sound reproduction. Overall, a great pair of headphones for the money.
Better build quality.(a little bulky though). I just returned bose on ear headphones for these and saved myself over $150. Comparable sound. Super bass wihtout sacrificing any highs as mentioned elsewhere. I just love them.
Don't believe those reviewers that suggest that a set of headphones needs to be broken in. My [.].$ Philips surround sound, in-ear plugs I picked up at a CVS pharmacy sounds ten times better than this piece of crap. This is so heavy with bass that I couldn't even hear some instruments that I knew were in the high ranges. Better to return this before the thirty days return time period elapses. Awful.
I bought this 2 years ago. I was quite surprised how durable they are and how well they sound. Loved these so much I decided to buy the HD650s just recently.
Yes - these produce very VERY low lows. However, I have found the mids and highs to be adequate. There was one review that spoke about what you are looking for primarily - I believe that applies a great deal here. I do agree that they are indeed very good in terms of bass and also I find that the mids and highs to be good as well.If you have the option to listen to them before you buy - do that and utilize various genres while you are listening. If you are NOT bass person or one who can appreciate or at the very least handle bass - then don't go for them. Other than that - GET THEM.
